Just Released: Global 3D Printing Industry 2013-2025: Worldwide Market Shares, Technologies, Growth, Markets, Players, Opportunities, Trends And Research Report

3D printing has received much attention in the press over recent years. Hyped as the technology to bring about a 3rd industrial revolution, 3D printing technologies were in fact invented in the late 80s since when they have seen steady, if unspectacular, growth.

To Read The Complete Report with  TOC :  http://www.marketresearchreports.biz/analysis-details/3d-printing-2013-2025-technologies-markets-players

After 2009 however, changes occurred which have seen the fortunes of the 3D printing world take an abrupt turn for the better. Manufacturers of 3D printers are reporting a surge in demand and markets for 3D printing are growing rapidly across a number of application areas as new materials development open up new opportunities.3D printers in fact constitute a raft of technologies, based on a number of different physical mechanisms, the common feature of which is the generation of a 3-dimensional physical object from a digital model. The process is additive in nature, as materials are laid down only where needed, and thus results in significantly less materials wastage than traditional manufacturing techniques. Each of the technologies is suitable for use with a different range of materials, which in turn defines the suitable applications of the printer.Originally used for the rapid production of prototypes for form and fit testing, applications are transitioning towards also functional testing of prototypes under working conditions, and further, the manufacture of final products.

Website: http://www.marketresearchreports.biz/

Whilst 3D printing of final products is relatively slow compared to traditional manufacturing methods, new, more complex, design avenues are opened up enabling the economic production of lighter components, critical to the aerospace and automotive industries. Applications are also emerging in the medical and dental fields, where the opportunity afforded by cheap customisation is allowing surgeons to replicate a patient's body based on MRI and CT scans in order to practice difficult invasive procedures, and medical and dental implants which are fully customised to a particular individual can be generated. This report discusses each of the technologies and on-going technological advances in depth, and analyses both the current and future markets for 3D printing. The market structure is also detailed, and we present profiles of the major players together with insights gained from in-depth interviews with a range of companies involved in 3D printing. We also present detailed forecasts for the future of the 3D printing market.

Just Released Market For Carrier WiFi and Small Cells in LTE & Beyond 2013 - 2018

WiFi and small cells deployments minimize network planning, redesign and real estate costs. Deploying them also allows carriers to avoid or minimize new frequency allocation costs. Small Cells can in many cases utilize the same frequency spectrum that carrier has allocated for its macro cell deployment, while WiFi access points utilize unlicensed spectrum.

Not only do WiFi and small cells deployments minimize network planning, redesign and real estate costs, they also allow Carriers to avoid or minimize new frequency allocation costs. Small Cells, in many cases, can utilize the same frequency spectrum that Carrier has allocated for its macro cell deployment, while WiFi access points utilize unlicensed spectrum.

The associated savings in both CAPEX and OPEX, together with higher throughout rates make WiFi and small cell deployments make WiFi and small cells a necessity for Carriers worldwide. Mind commerce, thus expects that Carrier WiFi and small cells infrastructure market will grow at a CAGR of nearly 40% over the next five years eventually accounting for nearly USD 11 Billion in revenues by the end of 2018. Nonetheless, the market still faces a number of serious challenges including but not limited to interference management, optimization and backhaul.

Global Evolving Market For Biosimilar Opportunities: Industry Shares , Growth, Trend And Research Analysis

The long awaited promise of biosimilars takes another step to fulfilment with the first approval in Europe of high-value second generation products. But what products can be expected to follow, who is developing them and what are the hot prospects?

Biosimilars: another milestone passed

At the end of June 2013, the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medical Products for Human Use issued a positive opinion for the first biosimilar version of Johnson & Johnson’s infliximab for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and plaque psoriasis. For the two successful applicants, Celltrion and Hospira, this development passes a significant milestone for the whole biosimilar sector as the products are the first monoclonal antibody (mAb) therapies to reach a positive opinion following review via the EMA biosimilars regulatory pathway. This is an important event which heralds a new era of lower-cost biological therapies in Europe.

For J&J and its partners, the news is less welcome. Already under pressure from branded competitors in the TNF inhibitor market, it is no surprise that both developer and biosimilar companies will be assessing what share they may secure of its US$6.13 billion revenues.

The tip of a US$41 billion iceberg

While significant for J&J, infliximab is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the potential for biosimilars. In terms of revenue, six of the top ten pharmaceutical therapies are biological products, which have been targeted by biosimilar developers: Abbvie’s Humira (adalimumab), Roche’s MabThera (rituximab), Herceptin (trastuzumab) and Avastin (bevacizumab), Sanofi’s Lantus (insulin glargine), and Johnson & Johnson’s Remicade (infliximab). These products had combined global sales of US$41.4 billion in 2012. Also of significant importance to biosimilar developers, with sales of US$4.2 billion in 2012 is Amgen’s Enbrel (etanercept).

Open season: Branded industry gets in on the act It may have taken a while, but the world’s major pharmaceutical originators have recognised the potential for biosimilars. A number have disclosed their intentions and/or announced clinical trials in recent months. For example, in February 2013, Amgen announced plans to launch a portfolio of six new biosimilars beginning in 2017: adalimumab, infliximab, bevacizumab, trastuzumab, rituximab and cetuximab. Four of these projects form part of the company’s development agreement with Actavis. In June 2012, Merck KGaA and Dr Reddy's Laboratories announced a partnership to co-develop a portfolio of biosimilar compounds in oncology, primarily focused on monoclonal antibodies. Pfizer has been openly active in generics and biosimilars for some time. The company previously had a collaborative deal with Biocon for its insulin products, although this deal was concluded in March 2012. In May 2013, Pfizer began a Phase I trial with an infliximab biosimilar, PF-06438179. Many smaller biosimilar developers have the ambition but not the resources. The increasing interest from big Pharma will bring a welcome boost of expertise and funding to research and partnering.
